After many years jointly at the helm of special machinery company AMBA, Manfred Gottschalk und Manfred Houben retired as Managing Directors of the company at the end of last year. Under their management, the company evolved into a leading manufacturer of machinery for metal cold forming. AMBA systems are highly demanded worldwide for their unique All-in-One technology.
The company’s customer base includes well-known screw, spoke and tube manufacturers. Products made with AMBA systems are used in a wide range of industries, including specialist wood construction and safety-critical components for vehicles and high-end bicycles.
Gottschalk and Houben prepared for a smooth succession early on to ensure the company’s continuing success: The company is now managed by Lars Henning as sole Managing Director. Henning had recently been the third Managing Director alongside Gottschalk and Houben. Georg Haas has been with the company as Manager Sales since 2021. Jens Berger recently joined the company as Manager Logistics, and Stefan Sailer as Manager Finance and Human Resources.
Jens Berger brings many years of experience as logistics manager in the automotive industry. Stefan Sailer can look back on a long career with various mechanical engineering companies.
Marco Hermanns, Manager Production, joined the company 27 years ago as an industrial mechanic apprentice. Christopher Drewicke will shortly join the AMBA team as the new Manager Technology.
To guarantee continuity, all of the company’s leadership positions remain filled with industry experts.
Despite the tense economic situation in numerous industries, AMBA has a solid order backlog that will tie up the company’s capacities more or less for the rest of this year. Therefore, AMBA is always looking to hire new skilled staff.
